Creating a Publishing Site
These videos take you through the process of developing a MOSS Publishing Site that makes use of the TMCore SharePoint Module to provide advanced classification, search and navigation features. You will need JavaScript enabled in your browser and the Adobe Flash Player installed to watch the videos. You can get/update your Flash player here on the Adobe website. All of the movies run for between 25 and 35 minutes.

- Creating an NPCL Schema - this video takes you through the process of designing a topic map ontology for a web site, showing you how to use the NPCL Schema Editor for Visual Studio to create an NPCL ontology file. Watch tutorial

- Ontology to SharePoint Feature - Having created an ontology, the next step is to use that ontology to generate the SharePoint Content Types and fields required to create and classify content. This video shows you how the NPCL Schema Editor provides the tools for doing this quickly and easily, resulting in a SharePoint Feature that can be deployed directly to the SharePoint server. - XML Queries and Topic Selectors - shows you how to configure topic selectors so that users can use hierarchies and custom queries to find related topics when classifying SharePoint items. The movie also shows how to create your own custom queries using the XML Query editor tool in SharePoint, and how to enable users to create new classifications as topics or even SharePoint list items when classifying content.
